Monthly Habit for April

Oasis For Change has dedicated April to cultivating your creativity. Being creative can reduce your stress and is downright fun. While you are being creative, all of your attention is focused on the task at hand which leaves little ability or resources to focus on any other possible stressors. Research shows that having creative activities in your routine keeps your brain active, and keeps you thinking sharper. Dedicate a few days this month to doing something creative. If you want to take this seriously, you will put this time into your calendar. This is an awesome opportunity to explore some of the things you used to love to do when you were younger.

Some ideas:
Cooking some new meals
Playing an instrument
Doing an art project (even coloring a coloring book counts)
Taking lessons on something- drawing, singing, writing, or photography.
Start keeping a journal.
